Super 5s Results

ROUND 1

Pedigreed Cars 2-2 Tom Ross & Sons

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Liam Willets & Lennox Fox

It was a high tempo game with lots of good pressure from both teams working hard. There was an early goal from Tom Ross’ Lennox Fox and then an own goal saw Pedigreed get back into it, followed by another own goal going the other way. A late goal saw Pedigreed score again for the draw. A very close game.

 

Cluny Estate Agents 2-0 Maclean’s Highland Bakery

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Oden & Rhys

There was great attacking play from the start and great defending from Cluny with some early chances being created for them. However they were unable to initially take the lead. Maclean’s worked for themselves but Cluny eventually took advantage with a couple of well earned goals.

 

Lisa’s Barbers 2-1 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Callum & James

A fast start by Credit Union but two goals on the counter from Bailey for Lisa’s made it difficult for Credit Union to do anything. It was a tight game.

 

Firthview Windows 0-2 Gardner Financial Service

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Robbie & Declan

An even start to the game with chances at both ends. GFS took the initiative with a good goal from Owen. Firthview had their chances but Kai made some great saves. Declan wrapped up the win for GFS.

 

ROUND 2

Costa Coffee 1-6 Cluny Estate Agents

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Aidan and Ethan

It was a one sided game to start off with. Cluny dominated with two wuick goals. Aidan got a goal back for Costa, but Cluny scored four more for the win. There was some excellent passing and great teamwork.

 

Lisa’s Barbers 0-2 Tom Ross & Sons

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Bailey & Harry

There was some composed play straight from kick off. Tom Ross became too much for Lisa’s. A great game.

 

Gardner Financial Service 3-4 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Cameron and Kia

Lots of goals with end to end action with a double from Cameron Stephen making the difference.

 

Maclean’s 1-1 Pedigreed Cars

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Finlay & Ellis

Some great early work for Maclean’s who were creating some scoring chances but were unable to tale the lead. Eventually despite Pedigreed fighting hard, Maclean’s took the lead with a cool finish. It was a hi-tempo game with great end to end action.

 

ROUND 3

Pedigreed Cars 1-1 Cluny Estate Agents

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ellis & Connor

Another good game with good opportunities for both teams, but only two goals. There were some great goalkeeping skills on show from both sides. There was good attacking from Cluny. Well played to everyone.

 

Costa Coffe 0-0 Maclean’s Highland Bakery

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Aidan & Finlay

The goalless draw is not a fair reflection of what was a good entertaining match. Both teams creating chances a plenty but neither side were able to break down each other’s defence.

 

Gardner Financial Services 3-4 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Owen and Ben

It was Declan’s first game for GFS and he played his heart out. It was an entertaining game and looked like a win for GFS until two cute goals from Alfie secured the win for Credit Union.

 

Firthview Windows 1-2 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Lewis Brownlee & Lewis Smith

It was a great start from Firthview Windows, Lewis Brownlee running the length of the pitch with a great finish. There was a great double stop from Robbie and Sinclair Taylor applied a lot of pressure. A late double from Lewis Smith gave the game a good end.

 

Round 4

Costa Coffee 2-2 Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Alexandra & Adam Rhind

It was a great end to end match. Costa were up 2-0 early on but there was a fantastic comeback from Firthview Windows after a great driving header from Aidan McCairn.

 

Credit Union 2-2 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Alfie Reynolds & Jacob

A close encounter with chances for both teams. It was a fair result.

 

Tom Ross & Sons 5-0 Gardner Financial Service

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Kito & Matthew

Olivia played well in goal but couldn’t stop the force of Lennox and Connor. There was good defending from both teams. There was a great save from Harry Walker.

 

Cluny Estate Agents 0-1 Lisa’s Barbers

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Jack & Aaron

Nice end to end game, good attacking play from both teams, but a good win for Lisa’s.

 

Round 5

Lisa’s Barbers 2-2 Maclean’s

There was great football from both teams and this made it an exciting match with four great goals. There were wuick early goals from Maclean’s, but this only made Lisa’s come out fighting.

 

Sinclair Taylor 1-5 Tom Ross & Sons

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Austin & Connor

Another quick start for Tom Ross saw them take an early lead. There was a great hat-trick from Connor Finlayson.

 

Firthview Windows 2-2 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ella & Lewis

A really good game with end to end football and both teams playing with maximum effort.

 

Pedigreed Cars 0-0 Costa Coffee

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Daniel & Mason

There was lots of running from both teams and some great defending. Daniel was very honest admitting he had a hand ball so well done Daniel.

 

SOCCER 7s

Grigor & Young 6-3 Dallas Designs

An end to end game of football with lots of goals and great passing. Dallas took an early lead with two great goals. Lennon scored his first goal with S7s. The second half became a real goal-fest with Grigor equalising and then Dallas leading again. Smart subs saw Grigor then score late goals for a 6-3 win.

ROUND 1

Sinclair Taylor 1-3 Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Craig Murray & Lewis Giffen

A blistering start to the match with good chances at both ends, some excellent goalkeeping kept the match level. Firthview got a foothold on the game with Lewis Brownlee finishing a fine move before a well taken goal from Cameron Stephen levelled the game.  Firthview Windows pushed on and scored 2 late goals for a deserved victory.

 

Credit Union 6-0 Gardiner Financial Services

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Alfie Gordon & Tyler Sked

A very strong Credit Union Team ran out 6 nil winner.  GFS kept their heads up with some good passes.

 

Tom Ross & Son’s 0-1 Lisa’s Barbers

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Hary Walker & Leo Brailsford

Quite an even match throughout the game. Some very good solo runs and nice passing.  The game’s only goal came from Baily Stephen.

A tight match with a tidy finish from Aaron Hurley making the difference.

MacLean’s Highland Bakery 0-1 Costa Coffee

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ewan McCrae & Corin Milne

End to end match with both teams defending well, Costa eventually earning the win with a nice goal.

 

Lisa’s Barbers 2-1 Cluny’s 

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Aiden & Ethan Lynch

Early pressure from Lisa’s Barbers paid off as Bailey created a 2 goal lead.  Kyle Simpson pulled a goal back for Cluny’s to ensure a tight finish.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award  – Olivia Roberts & Austin De Oliviera

A fair match with some lovely end to end football.  Tom Ross & Son’s came from behind to win the game 2-1.

Another cracking game to watch, some lovely football from both teams but a double from Ben Meacher was the difference.

A good even start from 2 well balance teams, Costa took the initiative with 2 quick fire goals from Aidan McCairn.  Firthview were under the cosh but the managed to pull a goal back to produce an end to end finish.

Plenty of nice football on show, the score did not reflect the game as both teams played some really good football.

Olivia scores to put GFS 1 nil up but Ethan Lynch comes to the rescue as the super sub fires in a Hat-Trick.  Connor Turner scores his 2nd goal for Cluny’s.

A very quick start from Tom Ross here, but Sinclair Taylor came back into it at the end and goal a great team goal. Fun Game.

Great game from Pedigreed Cars, good passing and they took their chances well.  Good passing from Ben led to some nice goals for his Team mates.

Hard fought game with neither side able to break the other down

A very good 7 goal thriller, the game was close at 3-2 and then Aaron Hurley scored a quick fire double to bag a Hat-Trick and win the game.

Really entertaining game with lots of excellent play.  A Hat-Trick from James Wilson edges it for Credit Union.

Sore flatters what was a tough game, GFS putting up a good fight but they just couldn’t take their chances.

 

Firthview Windows 1-1 Pedigreed Cars

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Lewis Brownlee & Daniel Hicks

A good even game with the early pressure coming from Firthview.  A good strike from Lewis Brownlee gave Firthview the lead but Pedigreed fought back well to level.  Firthview would rue a few good chances throughout the game but a draw was a fair result.

Hard fought match, 3 great goals made it an entertaining match.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Matthew Hepburn & Whole Team

An end to end game with chances a plenty.  Grigor & Young started well with a 2 nil lead but found themselves 3-2 down by half-time.  The game continued at the same pace after the break ending in a fair 4-4 result.

 

Dallas Designs 4-7 Mundole Taxis

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Jacob MacArthur & Callum McKray

2 teams with 6 men battled hard and worked tirelessly on a pitch that was long and hard to play football on.  Jake and Josh’s height and speed dominated play for Mundole.  Nico made some important saves.

This was a good end to end match, both teams playing at a fast pace with Firthview running out eventual 2-1 winners, thanks to goals from Lewis Giffen and Victor, consolation scored by Ben Fraser.

Great goalkeeping meant a tight and very competitive match. Great finish from Mason to seal the victory for Costa Coffee.

GFS created the early chances in this game, working Macleans defensively. Macleans battled to get back into the game creating a few chances, with a late strike enough to win this game 1-0.

A really close game between the teams, until Lennex scored a superb double to win the match for Tom Ross and Sons.

Soccer 7s Results

Forres Dental Care ​​5 – 6​​​ Dallas Designs
Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Joe Simms and Finlay Wallace
An absolute goalfest in this game. Both teams deciding attacking was the best form of defence. Some excellent football shown by both teams, followed by some poor defending meaning this game was won by who was going to take their chances. Both coaches having minor heart attacks at the sideline with how topsy turvey a game this was turning out to be.
Mundole Taxis​​ 6 – 4 ​​​Grigor and Young
Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Cameron Smile and William
A hard contest where Mundole were pushed all the way to the final whistle. Mundole raced into a 3-1 lead at half time. However, Grigor and Young stormed back second half and were 4-3 up. Mundole re-grouped and found second wind to take the game back again. Hard fought win for Mundole with an entertaining game for the neutrals.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Josh Hepple & Mackenzie Steven

It’s not often that you get a great 0-0 match but this was one of them. The two teams were really up for this right from the start. Epic!

Maclean’s Highland Bakery 4-1 Gardner Financial Services

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Rhys & Kai

Maclean’s were are organised outfit for their first match of the day and an early goal for them put GFS on the back-foot and they just couldn’t clear the lines despite some good defending. Maclean’s went further ahead with a fine passing goal and GFS managed a consolation with a fine goal of their own.

Costa Coffee 0-0 Lisa’s Barbers

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Mason Bramhald & Alex Abraham

A draw for the first game of the day for Costa. Both teams had chances to score but some good saves from both goalkeepers kept the game at stalemate.

Tom Ross & Sons 2-0 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Kito Thornhill & David

A very good match with some excellent defending and some clinical finish. It was very even in the first half but Tom Ross started taking some chances to finish 2-0.

ROUND 2

Pedigreed Cars 2-3 Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Tom Simms & Oliver Hodgson

This was a great game for both teams. It was well payed and there were some tough challenges adn end to end battling. An excellent brace from Viktor was just too much for Pedigreed to come back from although they tried very hard. There was great command and leadership from Oliver Hodgson.

Credit Union 0-4 Cluny Estate Agent

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Lewis & Arron

It was one way traffic in this match with some clinical finishing from Clunys. There were two great goals from Arron.

Gardner Financial Service 0-2 Costa Coffee

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award  – Connor & Corin

A good win for Costa but it was close with lots of running. Costa were a little stronger in defence. There were goasl from Corin Milne and an unfortunate own goal from Kai that sealed the win.

Sinclair Taylor 4-2 Maclean’s Highland Bakery

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Angus & Lewis

This was an evenly played match with some good chances created and taken. Sinclair Taylor has the bulk of possession and took most of their chances. They fought from 1-0 down to the stunning 4-1 victory.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Davie & Hayden

It was actually a close game despite the scoreline which showed that Maclean’s were taking their chances well. Credit Union just couldn’t convert the chances they had.

Costa Coffee 2-1 Sinclair Taylor

A great game with bot teams having loads of chances. Sinclair Taylor went ahead with a good goal from Cameron Stewart but two quick fire goals from Corin Milne and Aidan McCairn got the win for Costa.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Jessica & Lucas

Great end to end football with a fantastic comeback from Firthview. It was a great early start from Tom Ross. There was a great goal from Jessica with some fairly hard tackles.

It was a high tempo game with good goals from Daniel and Cayden. There was nice passing from Pedigreed and Tom Simms ensure Pedigreed kept control. It was a very strong, competitive match.

A very very close game with some really good passing from both teams. A late finish from Oscar was the difference.

GFS had a few good chances but unfortunately could not convert them. Pedigreed played well and worked well together. It was a cracking game for both sides. A special well done to Ellis Grant.

Some good team work on both teams. GFS, even though they were behind still tried hard and it was unlucky that they could not score.

It was an end to end match with chances for both teams. There was great team and individual play which made it a great match.

A strong performance again from Pedigreed Cars. Some nice passing from Ben lead to some good goals.

Mundole Taxis 6-3 Forres Dental Care

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Callum & Luke

An even game from the beginning with Mundole taking a 3-2 lead into half time. It was competitive with both teams creating chances. Both goalkeepers were inspired form saving chance after chance. Josh Murray, Josh Smith and a great strike from Max Theman added to the goals in the second half. Forres Dental Care kept going until the end.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Tommy

A great game played by both teams with good team spirit, but the stronger team came through in the end with two goals in the second half scored by Will. Overall it was a good game played.

An even game for the first few minutes but then Firthview got two goals in quick succession and then another two to secure the win.

 

Cluny Estate Agents 3-1 Maclean’s Highland Bakery

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Arron Harley & Finlay McQueen

An early goal for Maclean’s set up for a good match, further pressure from Maclean’s in the opening stages but couldn’t extend the lead. Some nice football latterly from Cluny’s. It ended up being a tight match with some great passing.

 

Lisa’s Barbers 0-1 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ayden Boseley & David Gornik

A fast start from Credit Union meant that Lisa’s were chasing the game from the start. There was a good finish from Alfie which was one of Lisa’s only chances.

A close game with good work by both teams and the match was played in good spirit.

What a game! End to end with good tackling and passing. Both teams were very hardworking with plenty of chances for both teams. A late winner for Maclean’s.

Another really close game for both teams with some fantastic goalkeeping. GFS played very well as a team.

A strong start from Firthview, there were two early goals with some vital tackles. There was lots of pressure from Sinclair but good defending and team work from Fithview.

Three quickfire goals from Pedigreed made it hard for Cluny. Pedigreed Cars made the most of their chances.

Fine passing from the back created the opening goal of the game for Maclean’s. Costa had some well worked chances but couldn’t breech the Maclean’s defence.

A very entertaining game with some great skills. It was full of action and both keepers played very well.

A match with lots of chances and both teams working incredibly hard. Two well earned goals for Rory Laing.

A hard fought victory for Cluny’s. Brilliant play and a sweet finish from Ethan Lynch made all the difference.

By far the best game of the day with some outstanding attacking play from both sides with the scoreline jumping from one side to the other. Special mention to Rhys Burbidge and Viktor Stoczkowski who both bagged hat-tricks for their teams.

Some great passing by both teams.

A great start from Lisa’s creating some good chances which didn’t convert. Maclean’s took the lad with a move straight off the training pitch cutting the opposition apart with nice passing and a good finish.

A great performance from Pedigreed Cars. The game warmed up and Pedigreed Cars got into gear. A nice consolation goal from Hayden Windsor and a special mention to Indiana.

A really close game with superb play from both teams. A good strike from Viktor won the game for Firthview.

A thoroughly entertaining game of end to end football with Dental missing a number of chances to equalise. Both teams were very well matched.

 

Mundole Taxis 4-0 Dallas Designs

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Conor McKay & Louie Goodall

A one sided scoreline but Dallas should be proud. They made Mundole work hard to take the 2-0 lead at half time and the Dallas goal keeper was in top form.

It would have been a one sided game if Pedigreed were taking their chances. However, a late equaliser from Brodie Finlayson meant a share of the spoils and the game ending 1-1.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Harry Walker and Jake Nicol

End to end match played with some very good passing from both sides. Precise finishing was the difference with Firthview picking up the win.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Dylan Fraser and Connor Bryceland

An exciting game considering the scoreline with both teams creating chances, defences were doing their job in this one leaving it to end 0-0.

A very close match, it could have gone either way. However, it went the way of Costa as a goal from Hayden Windsor secured the win.

A sharp start from Macleans with a well taken early chance for the first goal. Credit union played well and created chances but couldn’t put it past the Macleans keeper. Resulting in a 3-0 Macleans win.

Pedigreed dominated the game from the off. A lot of chances created and chances being taken in this game. It was a nice strike from Connor Finlayson to grab GARDENER FINANCIAL SERVICES only goal of the game.

This was a game with two evenly matched teams, a goal from Corin Milne separating the two.

Two well taken early goals had Macleans on the backfoot from the start. Both teams continued to create chances after this but it was Firthview with the final say ending the game 3-0.

Great passing was key to this Cluny E win. They controlled the game from start to finish with a consolation goal from Tyler Sked.

Two well worked goals from Liam Willets and Ben Ross earned the deserved win for Pedigreed.

This was a one sided game with clinical finishing from Brodie Finlayson enough to see off Sinclair. Brodie managed to net all 5 goals for Lisa’s.

Great game to watch for the spectators, sadly no goals were scored on this occasion.

This was a fair result. GFS took the lead with a goal from Kai only to be pegged back with a goal from Oden Fraser, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

A quickfire start from Cluny E with good forward pressure and dine finishing giving them a well earned lead. The pressure was relentless and they ran away with it in the end.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Leo Brailsford and Olivia Roberts

Both teams worked extremely hard in this game, with moments of disagreement, but in the end it was a good finish.

This was a very one sided match with 4 goals being the difference. Two scored from Hayden Windsor and Corin Milne.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Angus and Finlay Wallace

A fairly one sided game from start to finish. Dallas started on the defensive and showed a great first half display keeping the score down to 2-0 at half time for Dental Care. Dallas pulled a goal back in the second half but the game was already over and gaps in the Dallas defence meaning the game ending comfortably 7-1.

Beaver Travel                       3 – 4                           Mundole Taxis

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Matthew Macgillvary and Max Theman

Mundole took a commanding lead with goals from Max Theman and two from Josh Murray to lead 3-0 at half time. Beaver started the brighter in the second half and scored a great solo effort from outside of the box. The win was sealed with two further goals late on to finish 5-1

Club Members Tommy Smith, Paul Lynch, Clarke Roberts and Mark Hay are raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge.

 

The team need to play 72 holes ( 4 Courses) within 24 hours. They will be playing at Moray Old and New Course at Moray Golf Club, Lossiemouth, Narin Dunbar Golf Club and finishing at Forres Golf Club and will be travelling over 50 miles in between courses.

A well spirited game with some good quality passing from both teams. A great run and cross from GFS found a shirt at the back post to slot it home calmly to lead 1-0. Macleans eventually got into the match and equalized late on with both teams pushing to win the game, a draw was a fair result.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ethan Lynch and Cameron Stephen

Good opening match from both teams. Ethan Lynch scored the first goal with a lovely header, before adding second to win 2-0.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Kito James and James Wilson

A brilliant and entertaining game for the neutrals. Lennox Fox scoring 4 for Tom Ross’ to win the game 4-3.

A very strong Firthview side ran out convincing 3-1 winners. Although Tom Ross did not give up and their efforts were rewarded at the other end with a goal.

A very tight affair with superb counter attacking football coming from Sinclair Taylor. Chances for both sides, however they couldn’t be separated ending in a 1-1 game.

Another really close game for credit union but an accurate finish from Reece grabbed the win for Macleans, with the Macleans keeper working hard to keep the clean sheet for his team.

Very evenly matched game with only the solidary goal from Oden securing the 1-0 win.

A fast paced game with great saves from both keepers. Liam Willets scored a great goal for Pedigreed to kickstart the 2-0 win

A game of strong defending, and good passing made the winning goal from Firthview. End to end game with some great defending and goalkeeping keeping the score down.

This game started off to be a very tight game but quickfire goals from Costa resulted in this game being a comfortable game.

Macleans had the majority of chances in a pretty even match but a late winner from Tyler Sked ensured Tom Ross and Sons finished with a win.

A great team performance by GFS and an excellent personal show from Connor gave GFS a convincing win.

A good end to end match between two evenly matched sides. It was Cluny that made the early breakthrough only to be pegged back. The winning goal scored by Aaron Harley late on.

This was the best game of the day for Pedigreed with a great team effort allowing them to pull away with a 2-0 win.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Diarmuid MacFarlane and Nathan Fox

Dallas took a commanding lead early on and dominated the possession to begin with leading 3-2 at half time. Mundole made substitutions bringing on players who made the difference as the two players scored to give Mundole the lead for the first time. Dallas levels the scores late on to make it 4-4 and giving the crowd a very entertaining game to watch.

 

Grigor and Young                            3 – 4                           Forres Dental Care

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Alisha O’Neil and Eren Duff

After falling behind to an early Dental Care goal, Grigor and Young came back into the game breaking and playing counter attacking football to be 3-1 up at half time. Dental Care picked it up for the second have improving their play and taking their chances. It didn’t take long to get back into the game and they never looked back with goals from Josh Williams and Matthew Hepburn bringing the scores level. Unfortunately for Grigor and Young they didn’t find the net in the second half and a break in the centre of the park allowed Dental to drive forward cross where an own goal was to decide the game.
