Kick off your child’s passion in football
Forres Area Soccer 7s understand the importance of keeping kids active and creates a foundation for young players who wish to progress their footballing career and help provide a stepping stone to more advanced development.
The club, which meets every Sunday between February and October, caters for children from 4 to 16 years old. There are four levels the children can progress through – Development 4s (4-6-years old), Super 5s (7-9-years old) Junior 7s (10-12-years old) and Senior 7s (13-16-years old).

Volunteering – get involved
Providing a quality football experience to children in the Moray area is no small task. Incredibly, our club continues to grow year on year. In 2026 we expect over 250 kids to be registered at Forres Area Soccer 7s. Who handles this workload? Volunteers.
Forres Area Soccer 7s is one of the longest running youth football clubs and while many things have changed since we first started in 1993, we can only do what we do with the help of volunteers.
The First-Time Coach
Filled with dread before the season begins? “I’ve never played football, how could I ever help? It’s not like I don’t care, it’s just I don’t want to look foolish.”
There are too many examples of parents who want to coach but think it’s reserved for the elite football mad parents. The reality is most of our coaches are just normal people who took the leap of faith to help out.
If you too take that leap, what you will find is a supportive group of people who will provide help and guidance along the way. Our coaches will receive access to training plans, coaching advice and guidance from our Football Development Officer. Our aim is for new coaches to be experienced with someone who already has a season or two under their belt.
