19th August 2018 By Tommy Smith

Super 5’s Results

Round 1

Maclean’s Highland Bakery  0 – 0  Gardner Financial Services

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Blair McDonald  & Oliver Foster

Great game to start the day.  End to end match with great defending by both teams.

Cluny Estate Agents 3 – 0 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Alexis Stephen & Finlay

A really tight match for the first 5 mins.  Cluny’s then upped their gears with some fine passing.  They soon cut through a stubborn Sinclair Taylor defence with some great goals.

Tom Ross & Sons 1 – 1 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Austin De Olivia & Esther Douglas

Well fought game, great passing and tackling by both teams. Few shots just wide from Tom Ross.  Tom Ross scored with a well worked goal but Credit Union equalised with a last second goal.

Costa Coffee 2 – 2 Lisa’s Barbers

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Riley & Lewis Brownlee

Both teams were in the lead at sometime during the match.  They also both had chances to win.  Great first ever goal by Casey Thompson.

Round 2

Pedigreed Cars 1 – 3  Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ashton Miller & Lewis Dawson

A good close game until the last couple of minutes when Rhys scored 2 quick goals.

Gardner Financial Services  2 – 2 Costa Coffee

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Logan Milne & Angus

Costa took an early 2 goal lead through some great passing.  GFS made a superb comeback with 2 goals through Kito Thornhill.  Both teams battled hard.

Credit Union 0 – 3 Cluny Estate Agents

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ellen & Oden Fraser

One way traffic, Oden Fraser running the show and pulling the strings with some silky skills.  He showed great vision by threading the ball through the defence to open the scoring.

Sinclair Taylor 0 – 4 Maclean’s Highland Bakery

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Harry Walker & Hayden Windsor

Another tough game.  Great strike for MacLeans first goal.  Amazing team effort from both teams.

Round 3

Lisa’s Barbers 1 – 1 Pedigreed Cars

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Jake Nicol & Olly Falconer

Pedigreed Cars held on with some great saves from their keeper.  Cracking goal from Liam.

Firthview Windows 2 – 4  Tom Ross & Sons

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Ayden Trevenna Roy & Arron MacLeod

Good early play from Tom Ross to put them 3 up before Firthview came back into the game.

Costa Coffee 1 – 1 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Lucas & Oscar

Good game, Sinclair Taylor were still asleep at the start but came into the game.

Maclean’s Highland Bakery 2 – 0 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Robbie Malone & Carl Kelly Elilio

End to end game, Robbie Malone scored the first with a great finish.  Lots of pressure from MacLeans but Credit Union were very hard to break down.

Round 4

Cluny Estate Agents 1 – 0 Tom Ross & Sons

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Finlay McQueen & Josh Hepple

A match that was worthy of a draw.  That was until Josh Hepple struck late on with an unlucky own goal.

Pedigreed Cars 0 – 3  Gardner Financial Services

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Liam Willets & Kito Thornhill

3 quick goals gave GFS a great start.  Pedigreed gave it their all but were unable to score.

Lisa’s took an early lead with a goal from Jake Nicol.  Firthview fought back hard to win.

Round 5

Tom Ross & Sons 0 – 2  Maclean’s Highland Bakery

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Keira Simpson & Charlie Allan

Great battling from both teams.  MacLeans proving to be just too strong in the end.

Gardner Financial Services 3 – 1 Lisa’s Barbers

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Charlie McArthur & Logan Bichan

Another cracking game, GFS peppered Lisa’s goal but a late consolation from Lisa’s made it an interesting finish.

Firthview Windows 0 – 3  Cluny Estate Agents

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Eilidh Coombes & Aaron Hurley

A great Hat-Trick from Finlay McQueen, who was in fine form today. Easy street for the ‘Cluny Tunes’ as the go the whole day without conceding a goal.

Sinclair Taylor 0 – 3 Pedigreed Cars

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Cooper & Fraser Martin

Good finish from Pedigreed Cars.  They dominated from the start scoring 3 fine goals. A nice way to finish as they had no subs to help with play.  Well Done.

Junior 7’s Results

Round 1

Mundole Taxis 2 – 2 Forres Dental Care

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Corin Milne & Rory Laing

Fantastic game of football with Mundole taking an early lead through a brace from Cameron Stephen.  It could have been more but for the excellent goalkeeping from Aidan McCairn.  FDC came back into it through some bright and instinctive finishing from Brodie Finlayson, who bagged a double.  Fair result and a great game to watch.

Dallas Designs 1 – 1 Grigor & Young

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Taylor Houston & Ashley Greig

An entertaining game with the Grigor & Young keeper keeping them in the game with some great saves.  A late goal from a lovely corner from Kai Prophet and finish by Taylor Houston earned Dallas Designs a draw.

Round 2

Dallas Designs 1 – 2 Mundole Taxis

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –  Brodie & Greg Curry

A close game with both teams playing good football.  The match was decided in the last minute of the game with a close range shot by Greg Curry to win it for Mundole.

Grigor & Young 1 – 6 Forres Dental Care

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – James & Brodie Finlayson

A one sided match with Forres Dental proving too much for Grigor & Young.  A special mention for goal of the season for Brodie Finlayson who scored a 20 yard top corner.
