This year we are trying something new for a fundraising idea and that is a ‘Colour Run’.
The Colour Run is a fun run of 5km around Grant Park, Forres. Starting at 11:00am on Saturday 24th May, the event will run until all participants have finished the run. At the start and various points around the course there will colour stations where there will be volunteers ready to throw coloured powder at all the participants.
The Half Time Grill will also be opened during the event so please pop in and say hello to our friends Steph & Sue from K’s Coffee Shop, who will be running the Grill that day.
This is a fundraising event with all proceeds going back into the club. We are also running a competition where the person who raises the most amount of sponsorship will win a prize as a thank you.
All our products are from https://www.ministryofcolours.co.uk/ and you can also find the risk assessments for the event on their website. We will also have a hard copy of the risk assessment on the day if anyone wishes to read it before the event.
We are really looking forward to this event as we think it will be a great day for everyone involved.
