Soccer 7s Under Par’essure

Club Members Tommy Smith, Paul Lynch, Clarke Roberts and Mark Hay are raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge.

 

The team need to play 72 holes ( 4 Courses) within 24 hours. They will be playing at Moray Old and New Course at Moray Golf Club, Lossiemouth, Narin Dunbar Golf Club and finishing at Forres Golf Club and will be travelling over 50 miles in between courses.

Round 1

 

Macleans                                           1 – 1                           GFS

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Rhys Burbidge and Callum Burnside

A well spirited game with some good quality passing from both teams. A great run and cross from GFS found a shirt at the back post to slot it home calmly to lead 1-0. Macleans eventually got into the match and equalized late on with both teams pushing to win the game, a draw was a fair result.

 

Clunys                                               2 – 0                           Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ethan Lynch and Cameron Stephen

Good opening match from both teams. Ethan Lynch scored the first goal with a lovely header, before adding second to win 2-0.

 

Tom Ross and Sons                       4 – 3                           Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Kito James and James Wilson

A brilliant and entertaining game for the neutrals. Lennox Fox scoring 4 for Tom Ross’ to win the game 4-3.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Mason Bramhald and Brodie Finlayson

A hard fought game with end to end attacking play but neither side could get the goal they deserved in a thrilling game.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Daniel Hicks and Victor Stoczkowski

It was a fairly even match with both sides playing well trying to break down each other’s defence. A draw being the fair result.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Luke McGee and Aidan McCairn

GFS came from a goal down to win this game 2-1. Both teams fought well and Costa were unlucky to come away with a loss.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – David Gornik and Oden Fraser

A really tight game with both teams playing some excellent football. A superb goal from Ethan Lynch securing the win for the Cluny side.

 

Sinclair Taylor                                   0 – 0                            Macleans

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Mckenzie Stephen and Davie Lawrence

No goals in this game but plenty of action and chances for both sides. No one being able to take those chances resulting in a 0-0.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Calvin McColl and Greg Curry

Hard fought match with plenty of chances, a goal in the final 30 seconds of the game securing the win for Pedigreed

 

Firthview windows                           3 – 1                            Tom Ross and Sons

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Oscar Dawson and Alfie Reynolds

A very strong Firthview side ran out convincing 3-1 winners. Although Tom Ross did not give up and their efforts were rewarded at the other end with a goal.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Lewis Smith and Haydon Windsor

A very tight affair with superb counter attacking football coming from Sinclair Taylor. Chances for both sides, however they couldn’t be separated ending in a 1-1 game.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Finlay McQueen and Hayden Noble

Another really close game for credit union but an accurate finish from Reece grabbed the win for Macleans, with the Macleans keeper working hard to keep the clean sheet for his team.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Arran Hurley and Adam Rhind

Very evenly matched game with only the solidary goal from Oden securing the 1-0 win.

 

Pedigreed Cars                                2 – 0                            GFS

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Liam Willets and Connor Finlayson

A fast paced game with great saves from both keepers. Liam Willets scored a great goal for Pedigreed to kickstart the 2-0 win

 

Lisa’s Barbers                                   0 – 1                           Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Bailey Stephen and Oscar Dawson

A game of strong defending, and good passing made the winning goal from Firthview. End to end game with some great defending and goalkeeping keeping the score down.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ben Fraser Pulford and Corin Milne

This game started off to be a very tight game but quickfire goals from Costa resulted in this game being a comfortable game.

Tom Ross and Sons                        1 – 0                           Macleans

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Tyler Sked and Dylan Fraser

Macleans had the majority of chances in a pretty even match but a late winner from Tyler Sked ensured Tom Ross and Sons finished with a win.

 

GFS                                                    5 – 0                            Lisa’s Barbers

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Kai Prophet and Aidan Bosely

A great team performance by GFS and an excellent personal show from Connor gave GFS a convincing win.

 

Firthview Windows                         1 – 2                            Clunys

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Oliver Hodgson and Cayden Mackenzie

A good end to end match between two evenly matched sides. It was Cluny that made the early breakthrough only to be pegged back. The winning goal scored by Aaron Harley late on.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Connor Bryceland and Ben Ross

This was the best game of the day for Pedigreed with a great team effort allowing them to pull away with a 2-0 win.

 

Soccer 7s Results

 

Mundole Taxis                                  4 – 4                            Dallas Designs

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Diarmuid MacFarlane and Nathan Fox

Dallas took a commanding lead early on and dominated the possession to begin with leading 3-2 at half time. Mundole made substitutions bringing on players who made the difference as the two players scored to give Mundole the lead for the first time. Dallas levels the scores late on to make it 4-4 and giving the crowd a very entertaining game to watch.

 

Grigor and Young                            3 – 4                           Forres Dental Care

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Alisha O’Neil and Eren Duff

After falling behind to an early Dental Care goal, Grigor and Young came back into the game breaking and playing counter attacking football to be 3-1 up at half time. Dental Care picked it up for the second have improving their play and taking their chances. It didn’t take long to get back into the game and they never looked back with goals from Josh Williams and Matthew Hepburn bringing the scores level. Unfortunately for Grigor and Young they didn’t find the net in the second half and a break in the centre of the park allowed Dental to drive forward cross where an own goal was to decide the game.

Round 1

Firthview Windows 2-0 Gardner Financial Service

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –Lewis Brownlee

A strong start from Firthview and good defending and keeping kept them out but Firthview were too strong making a breakthrough with a good finish from Victor Stoczowski. GFS fought hard to get back into the game with only good defending keeping them out. Firthview cemented the win wit a fine finish from Oliver Hodgson.

 

Pedigreed Cars 2-0 Tom Ross & Sons

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Harlan Blyth & Lucas Hizzet

A great start from Pedigreed Cars, lots of good play and some good passing lead to two great goals.

 

Lisa’s Barbers 1-1 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Calvin Macoll & Hayden Noble

It was a very tight game between both teams, but was very evenly matched. A draw was a fair end for both teams due to great goals from Ben Meacher and Brodie Finlayson.

 

Cluny Estate Agents 0-0 Maclean’s Highland Bakery

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Finlay 

It was a good end to end game and was a very even match.

Both teams played well and fair. All players worked hard for the game.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Hayden Windsor & Aaron Hurley

The result did not reflect the match. Costa Coffee had loads of possession but with no end result. It was a great goal from Josh Hepple.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Tom Simms

Another end to end, fast and furious game with only Rhys’ long range effort making the difference. Good goalkeeping from Daniel saved the day.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Alex & Austin De Oliviera

A rare 0-0 result in Super 5s with some great defending and teamwork from both teams.

Firthview Windows 1-1 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Euan Laing & Jake Nicoll

A good even contest between two very well match teams. It was an end to end and very entertaining match with good chances at both ends. Firthview broke the deadlock through Victor Stoczkowski and Sinclair Taylor fought back into the game and levelled through Rory Laing.

 

Gardner Financial Service 3-1 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Connor & James

Both tea,ms played well and worked hard, but it was a quick start fro GFS with Connor Finlayson gaining a hat-trick for his team.

 

Pedigreed Cars 0-0 Cluny Estate Agent

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ben Ross & Kayden Fraser

Pedigreed were very lucky not to get beaten on this game as Macleans were superb. Pedigreed managed to hand in for the draw.

 

Costa Coffee 1-0 Maclean’s Highland Bakery

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Alexandra & Bradley George

Maclean’s has the majority of possession and the Cost keeper made a string of saves with Costa scoring on the break.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Tyler Skeed & Kai

There was respectable play by both teams and it was a very entertaining match with great passing by both teams.

 

Cluny Estate Agent 0-1 Lisa’s Barbers

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ethan Lynch & Brodie

It was a fast paced game with both teams working hard and playing on their skins. Cluny’s conceded their only goal of the day to Calvin McColl.

 

Credit Union 1-1 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – David & Mackenzie Stephen

It was a close game between both sides but Sinclair Taylor took the lead with David securing a late equaliser for his tame.

 

Costa Coffee 0-3 Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Oscar Dawson & Aidan McCairn 

Firthview started strong and took an early chance with good passing play and a good finish from Victor Stoczowski. Costa fought well but couldn’t get the ball over the line and Firthview capitalised with a good finish from Oscar Dawson with Victor wrapping it up late.

Pedigreed Cars 1-2 Costa Coffee

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Corin & Ben Ross

A much better performance from Pedigreed Cars with lots of passing and plenty of chances. Ellis Grant made his debut in goal.

 

Firthview Windows 1-1 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Oliver Hodgson & Lewis Darlon

It was a tight match between the two teams and was very evenly matched. Chances were good at both ends with a flurry f god defending and keeping kept the score level. It was Firthview that made the breakthrough with Ben Meacher levelling to make a frantic finish.

 

Lisa’s Barbers 3-1 Macleans

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – David Lawrence and Aiden

A quick goal from Calvin gave Lisa’s an early lead and another two late goals led to the win. Lisa’s dominated this match.

 

Tom Ross & Sons 1-0 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Abdul Bah & Adam Rhind

This was an entertaining match and both side showed great determination. It was a very close game and there could easily have been more goals in it.

 

Soccer 7s

Mundole Taxis 2-0 Grigor & Young

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Josh Smith

It was nil nil at half time due to outstanding goalkeeping by the Grigor & Young goalie, otherwise the score could have been very different. Mundole kept pushing in the second half and two goals by Max Theman saw Mundole take home a hard fought victory.

 

Forres Dental Care 2-5 Dallas Designs

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Louie Goodall

A fast paced match with some excellent passing from both sides. Dallas were the more clinical strikers and a stalwart defence with a keeper who was on fire kept the Forres Dental Care score to just two.

Round 1

Sinclair Taylor 1-2 Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Reece Burbridge & Robbie Malone

A good start for both teams with chances at both ends. Sinclair Taylor broke the deadlock with a great finish from Reece. Only a string of fine saves from Robbie Malone and hearty defending kept Firthview in it. Sinclair Taylor kept pressing but a good finish from Victor Stocskowski against the run of play got them back in it and with the last kick of the match Leiws Giffen finished a fine move to give Firthview the win.

 

Credit Union 0-4 Gardner Financial Services

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Callum & Ben Meacher

Gardner Financial Services demonstrated excellent team work as the steamrolled to a convincing 4-0 win.

 

Cluny Estate Agents 3-0 Pedigreed Cars

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Kayden Mackenzie & Liam Willets

A very close match which isn’t reflected in the scoreline. Two early goals from Ben Ross who was on loan and ended up playing against his own team meant Pedigreed Cars couldn’t recover.

 

Tom Ross & Sons 0-2 Lisa’s Barbers

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Tyler Sked & Calvin McColl

It was a fantastic end to end game with three great saves from Tyler. Great team works and big tackles for both teams.

 

Round 2

Macleans Highland Bakery 1-2 Costa Coffee

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Lucas Montagu & Joe Muller

A great end to end game which was well played by both teams. Costa took an early lead through a well worked goal. The advantage then doubled when a cross deflected off a Macleans player passed the helpless keeper. Macleans came back with some pressure and got the consolation goal.

 

Gardener Financial Services 2-1 Tom Ross & Sons

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Luke & Calvin Clifton

An extremely well fought and close game.

 

Lisa’s Barbers 0-0 Cluny Estate Agents

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Josh Hepple & Alex Abraham

An evenly fought match, plenty of end to end passing and good performance from the goalkeepers kept this game goalless.

 

Sinclair Taylor 1-0 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Cameron Stephen & David 

It was an early lead for Sinclair Taylor although Credit Union created lots of chances but failed to find the net. There was solid defending from both teams.

Firthview Windows 1-1 Costa Coffee

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Victor Stoczkowski & Mason

An even start to the match but Costa soon go the foothold and pressed well. The pressure paid off with Hayden Windsor finishing off a good move. Firthview defended well and good goalkeeping from Jake Nicol kept the score down and a late goal from Firthview Windows secured them the draw.

 

Tom Ross & Sons 2-5 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Austin De Olivera & Abdul Bah

A great game of football with Tom Ross working with maximum effort, Sinclair Taylor were just a stronger team and played good controlled football.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Tom Simms & Grant Napper

A good end to end match with plenty of chances for both teams but neither team could break the deadlock.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ethan Lynch, Connor & Kai

Close game with both keepers working hard to keep the mach 1-0. It was entertaining with a strong team performance from Cluny Estate Agents.

Credit Union 1-3 Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Alfie Gordon & Lewis Giffen

Victor Stoczkowski ran the show in an all round performance, passing, defending and finishing and working well for the team. His efforts were rewarded with a hat-trick which was made possible by the good team around him. Ben Meacher worked well with his team to steak a goal back for Credit Union.

 

Costa Coffee 0-0 Pedigreed Cars

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Harlin Blyth & Hayden Windsor

Some good saves from Hayden Windsor kept pedigreed from the win.

Clinical finishing secured the win for Cluny with Ben Ross getting a double. Both sides shared possession and the game could have gone either way.

Hard fought draw between two committed and evenly balanced teams who just couldn’t break each other down.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Owen & Grant Napier

An excellent match to watch. Lots of hard work from both teams with lots of running and great goalkeeping from the Maclean’s keeper.

 

Lisa’s Barbers 0-0 Costa Coffee

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Bailey Stephens & Corin Milne

Another well balanced match that showed a high level of discipline, good passing and strong but fair defending from both sides.

 

Firthview Windows 1-1 Pedigreed Cars

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Robbie Malone & Tom Simms

And end to end match with two very evenly matched teams. Pedigreed started strong with the early exchanges but it was Firthview that made the breakthrough. Firthview had a hold of the game and good defending kept Pedigreed in the game and they pushed on to even the match.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Lucas Hizzet & Lewis

Great team effort from both teams and it was played well. Austin for Tom Ross was like a human cat in the goal.

 

Soccer 7s Results

Forres Dental Care 1-3 Grigor & Young

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Donald Johnstone & Callum & William

A very close and hard fought first half. The second half saw Grigor & Young fire a 3-0 leads with well worked team goals, then a late goal from Forres Dental Care put a fair reflection on the game.

 

Dallas Designs 1-5 Mundole Taxis

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Murray Steele & Callum Mackay

A fairly one sided affair with Dallas Designs working hard against a strong Mundole team. Mundole took a 3-1 lead into half time. Two goals were scored by Max and a headed goal from Josh Smith put Mundole in a confident mood. A stunning top corner finish by Dallas brought them back into the game, but two more second half goals by Josh Smith made it a hat trick of headers.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Kieran Mann and Calvin Mccoll

High tempo game from the start from Pedigreed Cars with an early goal by Daniel Hicks the result. Lisa’s attempted to fight back but another 2 goals from Ben Ross finished the match.

 

Tom Ross & Sons Funeral Directors  2 – 5 Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Jack Kendrick and Jessica Porter

This was a very one sided game from the start with Firthview scoring 3 without reply. Tom Ross’s pulled one back with a fine finish from Lucas Hizzet. However, the comeback was not to be as Firthview strolled to a 5-2 finish.

 

Cluny Estate Agents 5 – 0 Credit Union

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Cayden Mackenzie and David Gornik

A great match from both teams. Kyle Simpson and Oden Fraser both grabbing a double and Aaron Harley getting a goal. Credit to both teams battling and competed well.

A quick start from Macleans creating the first goal and scoring from Grant Napier. Sinclair Taylor got into the game creating some chances but a late goal from Finlay McQueen was enough for the win.

A very even contest with both teams battling to get a foothold in the match. Good chances created at either end of the pitch with saves being produced. Lewis Brownlee scored the only goal of the game for Firthview as Lisa’s Barbers battled with no result.

 

Costa Coffee 1 – 0  Gardener Financial Services

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Aidan McCairn and Connor Finlayson

Both teams played extremely well in this one. GFS creating chances only to find the Costa keeper Aidan McCairn in fine form to deny them a goal. Hayden Windsor got the match winning goal, but Costa can thank their keeper for this one.

 

Credit Union  2 – 2  Macleans

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – James Wilson and Bradley George

Macleans surged into an early 2 goal advantage thanks to goals from Dylan Fraser and Ewan McRae. This forced Credit Union into a deserved fightback to claim a share of the spoils thanks to goals from James Wilson and David Gornik.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Owen Matheson and Ben Ross

Both teams played well with some good passing involved. Pedigree started the better and got a deserved goal from Greg Curry. This just enabled GFS to start the fightback and it was provided with two goals from Connor Finlayson to give GFS the win.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ewan Laing and Hayden Windsor

This was an end to end scrappy affair won with a solidary goal scored from Rory Laing.

This was an end to end match with two evenly matched teams. Both teams created chances forcing the keepers into fine saves. Firthview finally broke the deadlock with a well finished goal from Lewis Giffen.

This was a scrappy game from both sides with the keepers being kept busy. A draw being the fair result.

This game started off well with it being very close but a hattrick scored by Bailey Stephen was the difference in the end.

This game was played in true soccer 7’s spirit. The difference between the two on the side was being clinical with Costa taking their chances well to run out clear winners.

Both teams put in a lot of effort and encouraged each other in the game. This resulted in a 1-1 draw.

A very tight game with chances at both ends but a goal from Corin Milne sealed a deserved win for Costa Coffee.

 

Macleans Highland Bakery 2 – 1  Tom Ross & Sons Funeral Directors

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Dylan Fraser and Tyler sked

Tom Ross took an early lead with a good passing move providing the goal. Macleans weren’t to be beaten though and ran out 2-1 winners with two great goals being the difference.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Louie Goodall and Eren Duff

This was a match for the neutrals with plenty goals scored. Dental raced to a 3-1 lead at half time. As the scoreline suggests loads of chances were created with GF Job coming out the blocks in the second half to draw level at 3-3. Only to run out of steam and the eventual winners being Dental 7-5.

 

Beaver Travel  0 – 6  Mundole Taxis

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – William Jack and Nico Giscombe

The first half started with Mundole being on the front foot taking a commanding 4 – 0 lead into half time. Beaver picked themselves up and played a lot better second half creating chances with the Mundole keeper keeping the clean sheet intact. As Beaver pushed these left gaps at the back and Mundole were too good not to take advantage finishing the game 6 – 0.

A good from Firthview Windows on the front foot. Good team play but Sinclair Taylor fought back well to level game but Firthview were able to break through and win the game.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award  – Alfie Gordon & Josh Hepple

Brilliant match and fair result. Good fair play from Alfie Gordon saying his goal didnt count as he wasnt behind the half way  line.

Good end to end game , passing by both teams was excellent and played in good spirit.

Cluny applied a lot of pressure from the start, with good passing and some good finishing , Lisa’s were just unable to find the break.

Good competitive game with good effort from both but a lucky break allowed Lennox Fox to score and win the game for Tom Ross and Sons

A quick hat-trick from Lewis smith was enough for the win. Ben Meacher for Credit Union was able to break the Sinclair defence and score a goal but this time Sinclair were too strong.

Mundoles took a commanding lead into half time with goals from Max Theman, Connor McKay and Josh Murray. 2nd half Forres Dental came out attacking and scored 2 goals from Eren Duff and Nathan McNally however goals from Jake Farquhar and Jacob McArthur sealed the win for Mundole.

 

Dallas Designs 0-2 Grigor and Young

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award –   Matthew McGillivray & Tom Barron

Entertaining game from both teams. Great goalkeeping from Grigor and Young stopped Dallas Design from scoring. Passing from both teams were of the highest quality.

Lots of great goals throughout the game from Credit Union but Tom Ross working incredibly hard.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Matthew Adam & Brodie Finlayson

Really even match with great end to end play. Ewan McRae capitalised on a keeper error that put Costa 1-0 uo but a long range strike from Brodie levelled the match.

 

Cluny Estate Agents 0-0 Sinclair Taylor

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ethan Lynch  & Abdul Bah

Evenly matched teams whic showed in the 0-0 score line, with both keepers making fantastic saves.

An early goal for Gardner Financial Services made Maclean’s start to play and three quick well worked goals made the game better. Maclean’s were very dangerous on the attack and took their chances well although both teams played well and the score was not a true reflection.

A good start from Pedigreed saw them have the early chances, grabbing the opener through Ben Ross. Good defending and goal keeping kept Firthview in the game. Some good passing play from Firthview got Oscar Dawson free who levelled with a good finished. A close end game.

A fast paced game and plenty of chances from both teams. Hard fought tight contest payed in the right spirit.

This was a great game for the spectators. Lots of good defending from both teams and either team could have won the game. A goal from Josh got Cluny their well earned first win of the season.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Kieran Mann & Adam Rhind

Pedigreed Cars were up from this from the off and good passing by Pedigreed Cars was key. Tom Ross were under constant pressure with lots of chances at goal although Tyler made some good saves fro Tom Ross. Tom Ross were strong on the counter attack.

 

Firthview Windows 2-1 Gardner Financial Services

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Lewis Brownlee & Kai Prophet

A goo, even match with chances at both ends. Good defending kept the game level. It was GFS that made the break through with fine work from Owen Matheson. Firthview pressed well to get back into the game. A late finish from Victor sealed the win. A very entertaining match with great saves from both keepers.

Chance after chance for Maclean’s in the opening minutes, but some excellent goalkeeping with some unbelievable saves from Hayden Windsor kept Costa in the game. The latter part of the game saw Costa creating some nice chances which they converted to claim victory.

It was a fast paced game at the start with Jake Nicoll finishing a fine passing move. Costa fought their way back in to to stem the tided and levelled. It was a great end to end game, but a tough battle saw Firthview seal the win with a last minute goal from Oliver Hodson.

A very hard fought game with chances end to end. A draw was the fair result

And end to end game which was closely contested in the first half. Lots of chances at both ends with great goalkeeping. Mundole broke the deadlock in the second half  and their confidence picked up and never looked back.

A fantastic effort from both teams with non-stop football. A well-deserved draw in the end with great goals from Ben Meacher for Credit Union and a late goal from Oden Fraser to equalise for Clunys.
Tom Ross & Sons Funeral Directors 0 – 1 Firthview Windows

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Austin de Oliveira & Oliver Hodgson

Firthview started strongly and their hard work and good team effort paid off with a goal from Victor Stoczkowski. Tom Ross & Sons came back but couldn’t break down a solid Firthview defence. Firthview had the best of the chances but the Tom Ross goalie made some superb saves to keep the score at 1-nil.
Pedigreed Cars 2 – 1 Lisa’s Barbers

Early pressure from Pedigreed led to two early goals.  After substitutes were brought on, Lisa’s Barbers came back into the game with a good goal from Calvin McCall.

A fast-paced game with some hard tackling from both teams. Three great goals came from the entertaining play with Costa just strong enough to seal the win with goals from Aidan McCairn and Hayden Windsor.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Ethan Lynch & Oliver Hodgson

A fast start from Clunys saw them score early on. Firthview fought back well and hard work paid off as they got the draw. It was a great game to finish with, with end to end play and both teams taking turns to lead the game. A fantastic goal from Ethan Lynch off the crossbar finally levelled the game before the final whistle. An entertaining match!

Best game of the day with Hayden Windsor grabbing a hat-trick and goals from Ben and James with a late equaliser from Credit Union.

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Bradley George & Calvin Clifton

A very close game with both teams playing excellent football – plenty of chances and some good defending.  Both teams scored from good teamwork and a fair result was had in the end.

 Grigor and Young 4 – 0 Dallas Designs

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Euan Dawson & Kaiden Phillips

A one-sided score didn’t reflect a very even game. Great tackling and passing from both sides, with a combination of unlucky finishing from Dallas and excellent defending from Grigor and Young. Goals from Callum, William, Euan and Owen.

 

Mundole Taxis 5 – 5 Forres Dental Care

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Connor McKay & Luke Hall

Notable performances from Eren and also Josh of FDC with a hat-trick. FDC were 3 nil up but Mundole managed to get back in the game with five goals apiece being the final score.

Forres Dental Care 5-1 Grigor and Young

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Joe Simms & Owen Royan

A great game with Joshua Williams scoring the first hat-trick of the season in Soccer 7s. Both teams played well with Donald Johnstone having some great saves. Grigor and Young didn’t give up and fought hard and got a consolation goal.

 

Dallas Designs 5-8 Mundole Taxis

Ian Skivington Fair Play Award – Finlay Wallace & Callum Machray

A tough match that threated to become one-sided with Mundole racing to 5-0 at half time. Dallas designs came together in the second half with excellent passing. An excellent game to watch. Very welled played and in good sprit from both teams.
